'SUUUUUUUUUUUUP!! Okay, I got the retarded greeting out of the way. Now to move on. Why do I update my journal at 2:00 in the AM? Am I secretly a vampire who does not need to sleep? lol Twilight reference for those of you coming home from the midnight showings. Not that I'm a fan; I got bored halfway through the first book and quit. I was at a football game tonight instead of the midnight premiere showing at my local theater. It was cold. Why are we talking about Twilight and Football again?
And what is with all these questions in my journal?! I should know the answers; the questions are about my life! I think I just like rhetorical questions a lot currently. English class has given me the wonders of rhetorical devices.

Now the real point: I'm writing a journal in the early AM becuase it's the first downtime I've had lately. I am a busy busy drawing bee. I wouldn't be writing this now, except for my plans for tomorrow got canceled for me. I was supposed to go out and work on a construction project with Habitat for Humanity (which is an incredible experience, so do it now! ), but my club only ended up with 3 volunteers to go out, so our advisor decided to call the whole thing off. Right now I am a little ashamed of my club and it's motivation.

Anyway, I have been busy as usual. School and various others. I've got a new complete color pencil drawing and my first lineart and sketch with my tablet to post. Currently I'm working on completing a bunch of my older drawings to submit to my school's lterature and art magazine. My friend is the photographer in charge of taking pics of the art for the magazine. Her DA page: [link] . She seems to like a lot of my old drawings and encouraged me to enter a bunch of things into the magazine and finish several others to enter.
I'm also working on a drawing my dad asked me to do for a T-shirt design. He wants me to draw the school's mascot in a more cartoony way, or basically in my style doing something like holding drumsticks for the school marching band. He's going to have a friend of his who prints tees print the design and then he'll take it to some of the booster clubs and see if it will sell. I was reluctant to do this, but he really wants me to, so what the heck. Hopefully I'll have fun with the drawing and it won't be too embarrassing XD
Some people may care to know that i'm still working on more ESC, but it may once again take a while because of all of the above. I've started into inking Chap. 3 page 1, but I plan to color the first few pages of this chapter, so that will cause a little more delay. But no worries, because ESC is by no means going on hiatus. Not while I still love drawing it

P.S. My school's mascot is a trojan (use protection: always use condiments in the cafeteria XD), just in case you were wondering.
