Description

DUHN DUHN DUHN! Lmao.
Dude, I realized this morning that I'm almost to 70 pages on this stuff. Cool XD

ESC reads backwards, right to left, though you don't really have to be too concerned with that on this page :3 And of course it reads from the top down, because even I'm not THAT backwards lol. Thank you for reading and viewing! Feel free to leave critiques, advice, and funny random junk in the comments. No advertisements though, please XD

<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> i really like this page, simple, elegant. it flows <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
Vision- i gave it 4.5 stars for vision because even without speech bubbles i can tell what is going on, it flows gently, It goes to a slightly closer view of Ally's face and her cut. then Joey who has been rambling is seen with a look of realization and fear/sadness? i don't know how to describe the emotion but he realizes that Ally has been wounded and it is well done so the reader feels like the first two panels are from joeys perspective.
Originality- i gave it a 3.5 because this kind of thing has been done before, but what hasn't been done nowadays. Even though i have seen this in other manga, you pulled it off wonderfully and smoothly. there is no rough breakage or quick shifts in the scene, and it comes out great.
Technique- 5 STARS! the view is of Ally with a sort of upset look on her face, but it pulls into an up close of the cut she has and then switches to Joey's expression. 3 simple panels on 1 page but it is done expertly. You broke the dullness that it could have been by making the middle panel overlap both the top and bottom panels so they are all at angles. this is very good in a situation like this because it provides a bit of white space between the panels of Ally and Joey. At the same time the way it is shaded brings the scene together smooth and makes it fluent. the up close shot is gentle, not sudden, helping the viewer feel how Joey notices Ally and reacts to it. it has the right amount of everything and i have nothing bad to say about Technique. Great job ^^
Impact- like i have stated in the previous sections it,s impact is subtle yet overwhelming. the reader feels the individual scene yet knows that in the grand scheme of things something must be wrong the impact of this page is very well defined and precise. too the point, with no word bubbles this page still speaks to the reader using only the expressions and panel layout which is the goal of art, to speak with no words. and this page does speak <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> that is sometimes hard to do but you pulled it off marvelously <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>

Overall it is one of my favorites so far, and is expertly executed <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> GREAT WORK <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
