Lucky Fish

This is a lineart I did mostly for kicks, but I liked the end result. I want to post a colored version as a thank you for 2000 views when I reach that point. This drawing is a little confusing just as a lineart XD

This is the character Joey from my series ESC. He always reminds me of fish for some reason. Guess it's because he likes to fish and is great at cooking fish but absolutely hates the taste of fish. He also has terrible luck, so I think there's a kind of irony to having him represented by a koi, a symbol of good luck. There's actually a small golden koi inside the binding on the hilt of his katana, to bring luck to the wielder. It doesn't work well, though XD
